If you have set Firefox to open all closed tabs when you open it next time, you will have to close each of them first. Now I can continue with what I was doing on a new tab. This window would have all the tabs you had open, the last time you closed Firefox. ![]() When I try to open Firefox, the follow page also opens up in addition to, and over the top of my usual 'Homepage'. Type in the above to the address bar and this would bring up the Session Restore window, the same window that would come up the next time you open Firefox after it has crashed. about:sessionrestore is the new in-browser page displayed for repeated crashes from which users can choose to (selectively) restore the crashed session. Firefox - URL- 'about:sessionrestore' opens in addition to Homepage For the past few days I have been constantly plagued by a problem with my Firefox Browser ver 56.0 (64 bit). Make sure you do not have anything to loose in any of the open tags, like filled in forms or something. Too many tabs makes Firefox slower and consumes a lot of memory (even after using RAMBack). Having a lot of tabs open is a distraction, it becomes hard to navigate after a while. The links from Twitter, the pages I would like to read later when I am free On average I have 15 tabs open, sometimes they are over 50. This preference was added in Firefox 3. ![]() I have a habit of opening many Firefox Tabs at a time. The Session Restore feature allows the user to continue browsing from where they left off if the browser restarts. ![]()
